Post 2

       My first design (Pattern) started off with 2 rectangles side by side that each contained a hexagon in it that contained a oval that also contained a rectangle again.  Each shape had its own color.  The rectangles are red, the ovals are green, and the hexagons are blue.  My second design (Emphasis) contained four circles.  One big circle that was about half the page and three smaller circles to the left of the big circle.  The big circle is the one that catches your eye because it says "LOOK HERE."

     I think the InDesign program is very interesting and unique because it has features that many other art programs do not have.  I especially like the free transform tool because you can change the proportion of any shape in any other form.

    The role that the principle of design has in art is the different ways you can design a piece of art.  I think each principle is just as an important as the next in creating art because they serve different features in a design.
